Group Training

No two classes are ever the same. You will train in a group environment with like minded women who have the same goals as you. Together you will motivate each other to reach those goals. Age, ability and fitness level are no limitation……your trainer will challenge you each sesssion by pushing you outside your comfort zone so that you realize everything you are capable of.

60 minute sessions that mix strength and cardiovascular exercises are for women only!



Tabata Training

Basically, the Tabata Method of training is 20 seconds of hard training followed by 10 secconds of rest repeated 8 times. The name comes from the original author of the study around this interval training method called Izumi Tabata. His paper was published in 1996 and so has been around for 17 years but is seeing a lot of renewed interest. Sessions last for 30 minutes. The American Heart Association recommends the following “…at least 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise or 75 minutes per week of vigorous exercise (or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity). 30 minutes a day, five times a week is an easy goal to remember, however you will also experience benefits even if you divide your time into two or three segments of 10 -15 minutes per day”. This is interesting that the Tabata sessions fits directly into the timing suggested by the American Heart Association. Other benefits include:

Strength Sessions

Weights training only, held in my home studio. Your heart rate will still rise so expect a tough session all round!



Cardio Sessions

45 minute cardio sessions. Think interval training, skipping, running, stairs, hills, bike, rower.



Group sizes are a maximum of 20. Come along for fun and fitness.
