Personal Training ScalesPersonal trainers aren’t for everyone, but a trainer provides certain benefits that you can’t find when working out on your own.

  • Finding it difficult to motivate yourself to push harder each time you work out?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions you may need help with your exercise program.

One on one training sessions with me will be tailored to your goals and individual lifestyle. Because we will be training in my studio or in a local park, instead of a busy gym the focus will be totally on you, as it should be. I will prepare and structure each session according to your goals so you’re guaranteed to succeed.

The first session is complimentary and is all about me getting to know you. There are several components to cover before we begin training:

  • Goal setting. If you are not entirely sure of what your goals are I can help you set ones that follow the SMART principle – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely.
  • Medical History and Release Form. This ensures that it is safe to start training. In some cases you may require a Medical Clearance from your doctor or advice from another Health Care professional before you begin training.
  • Postural and Exercise Analysis. We will spend time assessing your posture and range of movement. Expect to do some squats, pushups, core exercises, dips etc to check your current abilities.

Your first training session won’t be high intensity as I will be taking you through your program, establishing suitable weights for you to train with and letting you determine whether your expectations are met with me as your trainer.

Once you decide to commit to a regular program I will also conduct fitness testing of your cardio, strength and flexibility capabilites as a measurable basis for us to build on.

Personal Training session bookings are available throughout the day. You can train in an airconditioned studio or outdoors at a convenient location to make the most of Queensland’s wonderful weather.

Standard Personal Training sessions are 45 minutes in length including warmup and hands on stretching at completion.
